One Little Card, One BIG Network
A Lunenburg Library card gives you access to our physical and digital collections, plus materials from the 150+ libraries in the CW MARS network.

How to Get a Library Card
To register for a library card, visit the Lunenburg Public Library in person and bring a valid photo ID with your current Lunenburg address, or a valid photo ID and two alternative proofs of address (these could be recent utility bills, a bank statement or a lease).
eCards
New patrons can choose to get a CW MARS eCard instead of a physical card, giving them access to electronic materials such as ebooks, audiobooks, online magazines, and databases. The eCard is for patrons who do not already have a CW MARS library card, and does not allow cardholders to check out physical materials. However, it may be upgraded to a physical library card by visiting your local library.
Does it cost anything?
No, your first library card is free! A replacement physical card is just $1.00.
How long does it last?
All cards are valid for two years, at the end of which time cardholders are asked to verify their address and contact information for renewal.
Can kids get a library card?
Yes! Applications for patrons under eighteen years of age must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, who must present a photo ID and provide proof of their Lunenburg address.
