

Tweens & Teens Virtual Cooking Program
Thursdays, May 4th, 18th, & 25th @ 4:30-5:30PM
Join us as the Lunenburg Public Library hosts cooking classes with Brittany Wujek, RD LD, a Registered Dietitian with Hannaford’s Supermarket! Classes will be held virtually each week at 4:30PM-5:30PM EST on Thursdays from May 4th to May 25th (no class on May 11th) so you’ll be able to join us from your own kitchen. Each week has its own registration, you can sign up for one, a couple, or all of them! The theme for this cooking series is: Cooking the Rainbow! Brittany will walk us through how to prepare delicious and healthy dishes full of colorful veggies! Weekly recipes and lists of needed ingredients will be supplied by the library so that you will be prepared to fully participate in each class.
Open to tweens & teens in grades 4-8 (ages 10-14). Registration is required.

Tweens & Teens Craft: Painting with Watercolor Crayons
Wednesday, May 31st @ 4:30-5:30PM
Tweens & Teens can choose from either a blank piece of watercolor paper to draw your own image, or choose one with a pre-drawn image on it. You’ll color the image with watercolor crayons, then paint with water and paintbrush and watch the paint come to life and fill in your piece of art work!
Open to tweens & teens in grades 5-12 (ages 11-18). Registration required.

Teen Craft: Make Your Own Rainbow Suncatcher Wind Chimes
Thursday, June 1st 3:30-4:30PM
Teens can join Teen Librarian Susan at the library to make rainbow suncatcher wind chimes! All supplies are included and teens will be able to take their creations home with them.

Teen Video Game Night with One Up Games
Friday, June 9th 6:00-9:00PM
Come to the Library after hours to play video games! One Up Games will provide a variety of consoles and games – including VR headsets! This will be the last video game program before we take a break for the summer so don’t miss out on the fun!
Open to tweens & teens in grades 5-12 (ages 11-18). Registration in advance is appreciated. Participants can also register at the door, so if you didn’t sign up but still want to drop in, that’s ok too!

Teen Craft: Needle Felted Owls
Tuesday, June 13th 5:30-7:00PM
In this program, you’ll learn the basics of needle felting to make your very own owl! Rachel from The Fiber Web will show you how to sculpt basic shapes with a barbed needle using merino wool. Needle felting is fun, relaxing, and it’s easier than it looks!
This program is open to tweens & teens in grades 5-12 (ages 11-18). Registration is required as space is limited.

Family Game Night
Every 2nd Thursday, 6:00-7:00pm
Come to the library on the second Thursday of every month for Family Game Night from 6:00-7:00pm! Fun for all ages. We will put out various board and card games that you can play with family and friends! Open to all ages. No registration needed.

(Not So) Young Adult Book Club
The (Not So) Young Adult Book Club is for those adults, who love reading young adult books (you know who you are!). But, teens are totally welcome to join us too! New for April’s meeting is the option to join us virtually over Zoom if you can’t make it to the library to meet in person!
The April meeting will take place on Sunday, May 21st, from 11:00am-12:00pm. We will be discussing How We Fall Apart by Katie Zhao. Copies are available to check-out at the library. If you are interested in young adult books and participating in this book club, please come to the first meeting even if you have not read the book!
Registration is required if you plan on participating virtually to receive the Zoom meeting information. You are more than welcome to come to the book club even if you did not sign up in advance!

Reading Reward Program with Main Street Bank Lunenburg!
Read and Earn Money! Open to children up to eighteen years old. Read ten books to get $10 deposited into their Main Street Bank account. A matching donation will also be given to the Lunenburg Public Library! Ask for an informational brochure at the library to get started.
