Food Preservation 101: Pickles! with NOFA/Mass

This hands-on workshop is a basic introduction to food preservation processes with Sisters Anna Gilbert-Muhammad and Dora Miller of the Northeast Organic Farming Association’s Massachusetts Chapter.
Have you started gardening and do not know what to do with your abundantly harvested crops? Join us to learn the basics of hot water bath canning and make some pickles to take home! Representatives from NOFA/Mass will lead a workshop covering these topics followed by a Q&A session:
– Safely preserving your garden harvest.
– Tools needed to get started.
– Best methods of preservation.
– Tips and techniques.
